Job purpose
Under the direction of the Branch Supervisor and Branch Manager, provides a high level of quality of service to members and provides accuracy in transactions. Performs a variety of member service functions in conformance with established policies and procedures. Adhere to the PICK US culture through exceptional member service during every member interaction. Handles all member transactions with complete discretion and confidentiality.
Duties and responsibilities
Member Experience
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience every time by:
- Creating and supporting a member-centric environment.
- Being knowledgeable about the Credit Union's products and services.
- Uncovering customer needs through meaningful discussion and making product and service referrals to colleagues.
- Processing transactions accurately, ensuring the member's needs are met.
Operational Proficiency
- Able to quickly learn and adhere to all policies and procedures related to branch operations to include, but not be limited to, check cashing, deposit taking, cash drawer settlement, debit card issuance, audit requirements, BSA compliance awareness, online banking navigation, coin machine balancing, cash drawer limits, and other such functions.
- Able to quickly learn and adhere to banking compliance and regulatory requirements as defined in company policies and procedures.
- Responsible to balance daily transactions and personal cash drawer.
Business Acumen and Technical Knowledge
- Demonstrate the ability to build relationships and alliances with members and colleagues.
- Able to quickly learn all functionalities and related benefits inherent in the products and services offered by the Credit Union to include digital technology offerings such as online and mobile banking.
- Proficient with desktop applications such as MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Flexible with the willingness and ability to adapt to change.
- Eager to embrace new and emerging technologies.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma, or equivalent; or one to three months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination required. Cash handling experience required; may assist with ATM/ITM, vault and/or branch settlement.
